Driving to Mission Beach

Mission Beach is located in Mission Bay, between Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach. Depending on which part of the beach or bay you are trying to get to you can either take Interstate 5 or 8. From the 5 exit on either Garnet or GRand Avenues and head West. Ingraham Street runs through Mission Bay Park (from north to south). Traveling south on Ingraham Street will take you to Seaworld San Diego.

If you take the 8 west you will be traveling to the south end of Mission Bay (near Seaworld San Diego). Take the West Mission Bay Drive exit and proceed north to Mission Beach, Mission Bay Park. If you continue along the expressway will end by the Ocean Beach Athletic Area Robb Field.

Public Transportation

Take MTS bus route number 8. If you are coming from North County or Oceanside you can take the Coaster and transfer to the MTS 8.
